Position Overview:

The Student Pastor is responsible for leading the spiritual development of 6^th – 12^th grade students at Christ Church of Orlando. This includes creating engaging and meaningful spiritual experiences, building strong relationships with students and parents, and organizing and leading volunteer teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the student ministry for middle & high school students.
• Provide relevant and engaging experiences that help students become fully devoted followers of Christ.
• Develop an intergenerational approach to student ministry that engages and equips parents as well as students.
• Recruit, train, and empower students and adult leaders.
• Develop a system for consistent communication with both parents and students.
• Integrate the student ministry with churchwide activities and initiatives.

Weekly Duties:

• Provide a relevant and spiritually engaging experience for students.
• Connect with students and parents who visit the church for the first time.
• Communicate with parents & students.
• Attend Staff Meetings.

Other Expectations:

• Serve as a member of the Family Focus Team to develop an on-going family discipleship plan.
• Assist with organizing, promoting, and leading family discipleship events.

9-5 Monday – Thursday
7-2 Sunday
