Pay Range (national): $60,000 - 75,000/year USD.

OUR NEED

The nation’s leading Christian Environmental seeks an expert Church and Marketing Manager to help change the world.

You are a whip-smart creative marketer with insider knowledge about U.S. Christian churches and church leadership. You are a rare entrepreneurial “starter” who can also handle hands-on execution of deliverables against Plant With Purpose’s new national church engagement strategy. A proven project manager, you have a track record making great ideas a reality. Do you have an established church leadership network and connections? That’s a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the Director of Marketing to launch and execute a national Church Engagement Strategy.
  • Lead the development of resources designed to connect US Christian churches to the global environmental and poverty crises, and the work of Plant With Purpose. These will include a church resource portal (clearinghouse); in-service and other in-church experiences; and a powerful group experience designed to educate, inspire and activate US Christians to engage in the global environmental crisis.
  • Be an external resource to Christian Churches.
  • Be a brand ambassador for Plant With Purpose to U.S. Christian churches in person, online and in print.
  • Be an expert resource on poverty/environment to U.S. Christian churches.
  • Be a resource to the National Plant With Purpose Major Donor Representatives and other relationship managers, supporting their church partnership acquisition and development.
  • Support the marketing and communications departmental initiatives as required.

WHAT WE'LL LOVE ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelors/Masters in Marketing, Communications, and/or ministry field; or relevant experience
  • International development experience/education helpful
  • 3+ years experience in marketing role
  • 3+ years experience in church ministry role
  • You have first hand, working knowledge of the U.S. Christian church and understand the needs and motivation of church leadership.
  • You are a creative entrepreneur who goes beyond ideas to effective execution.
  • You have the ability to motivate and influence through written and spoken word
  • You have a knowledge and passion for issues of global justice including poverty, equity and the environment.
  • You have experience in web and graphic design
  • You have experience with layout and design with Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, video editing software
  • You are familiar with all popular social media platforms and have the ability to create and manage content.
  • You are willing to occasionally work overtime as needed
  • You have been described by others as having cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • You are fluent in the use of MacOS, Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Suite products (GDrive, GDocs, GSheets)
