Accounts Payable Bookkeeper
Generals International is a ministry nonprofit serving individuals and ministries globally. We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who is able to work onsite for 40 hours per week. We offer an exceptional benefit package for the right candidate. The organization does require occasional overtime and ability to work at conferences over weekends at least three times per year. But it is a lot of fun meeting people from all over the world. We cross-train, so this person would also have to opportunity to learn everything there is to know about nonprofit financial management. We also love friendly people who help us improve our current relationships with donors, recipients, and each other.
Specific areas of responsibility include: Collecting, coding, and entering all bills and expenses, resolving issues with vendors, managing sales and product inventory, monitoring and ordering office supplies, and preparing specific reports for management. Additionally, they will oversee conference product tables. And, since we have a small, well-chosen staff, there will be many other opportunities to collaborate within the organization.
This position does not require travel. The applicant must be proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel, and willing to learn many other programs specific to the nonprofit world. Salesforce experience is a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
